Unless we believe that something will happen, we can make it happen. Think of the aeroplane.
If we need to shape the future, we need to believe it is possible.
Another concept I loved is being a good ancestor. That is another act of optimism.
Optimism is not a utopia. It’s the fuel that powers our problem-solving. The problems we face now are solutions from the past (artificial power that was needed then), and the solutions we will have to solve the current problems will generate problems, too. But with optimism, we can face these challenges with hope and positivity.
