Marcel Heijnen published a book called City Cats of Istanbul. A coffee table book for cat lovers. The thing is when I went to Istambul I do remember how many cats and how beatiful were all of them, someone on the trip said that this is due to Natural selection, manky cats didn’t get food from tourist so only cute ones survive. I don’t know if there is a study or not, I liked the story but please take it with a hand full of salt, because I did not contrast this information.
